Subj: PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear NNOA members, friends, and supporters:
Welcome to a new year for NNOA Quantico chapter officers, thanks to the
faithful, committed membership. We’ve
just returned from our national conference with renewed energy, focus and
dedication. VADM Rondeau,
panelist from the Flag Officer Symposium at the national conference, declared
this an “opportune time to be a military member.”
Let’s take advantage of these benefits and seize the moment to grow
personally and professionally, mentor junior officers and make our mark in the
Sea Services while we have the heightened attention of our nation.
In order for the national organization to have a strong presence the
local chapters must be proactive and have a strong presence in their local
communities. I ask you to bring a
friend, invite your OICs to our meetings, our community events, to our church
visits, etc. Take an active role in
the Quantico Chapter’s community outreach mission.
A chapter is only as strong as its members’ participation.
I have several ambitious goals for us this year.
I look forward to working with you to make the Quantico Chapter a force
within NNOA, Quantico, and the Northern Virginia Community.
Semper Fidelis!
Col Paul D. Bennett
